Sony DCR-HC26E Handycam Kit

The Sony Handycam DCR-HC26E Camcorder packs a powerful 20X zoom into an extremely compact, lightweight video camera. Its easy-to-use & touch-screen capability houses the MiniDV cassette to record and capture video memories. Footage captured creates a grainy lo-fo quality to your content.

This model has “Easy” mode and leaves you to operate the video camera in full automatic. Turn off Easy mode, and you'll find that the DCR-HC26 shifts to manual control. 

It has program auto exposure modes, such as Sports and Portrait, as well as manual settings for exposure and focus. The NightShot Plus infrared mode lets you shoot in total darkness, perfect for festivals and capturing memories. While it gives everything a greenish cast, it's generally more effective than the slow-shutter modes on many camcorders, which result in unusably blurry footage.
